Lee Newman is an emerging performing artist in Vancouver. At a young age, Lee learned that singing made her happy, and later on, that music heals the soul. Lee continued on to study voice in Capilano University's classical music program. She has also performed with professional choirs including Capilano University Singers, and Laudate Singers.
Nowadays, you can find Lee performing in venues around Vancouver with one of her two progressive and queer-friendly bands: the danger-folk pop group, Parlour Panther, or the folk-jazz band Tatters & Ravens.
While Lee has plans to master the business of live performance and event production, she also loves dancing, yummy food, her cat Waldo, riding her bike, and her partner in life and music.
It seems that Lee has found her choral soul-mate with Cor Flammae, and she is beyond excited to sing with them this season!
