Singer

Byron Hanson is an experienced performer, studio musician and production artist.

Originally from Alberta, he transitioned to the West Coast eight years ago and has made a home within the city’s vibrant and diverse music scene. He is a soloist and section lead with the Christ Church Cathedral Choir and the second tenor section lead with Chor Leoni Men's Choir, both winners in the CBC Radio Choral Competition. He also works as a session singer both in performance and in the studio. Byron plays the cello as well and has performed with the A Company of Instruments Baroque Orchestra and the rock band Ten Suns.

Byron has recently completed the Electronic Music Production course at Langara College (2010) and has begun producing his own compositions, mixing and editing, film scoring, and recording  other artists. He also DJs under the name B_Naut, playing italo disco, electro, micro­house and IDM.

Other highlights since moving to Vancouver have been performing for Cirque du Soleil, taking part in the Opening Ceremonies 2010, and conducting the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
