Bruce Hoffman has been a well known choral singer and soloist on the Vancouver choral scene for over thirty years. He has sung the role of Uriel in Hadyn’s Creation and appeared as soloist in Handel’s Messiah under the direction of Gerald van Wyck, been a soloist for the Vancouver Bach Choir’s “Sing-along Messiah,” and was tenor soloist for the 2013 performance of Mozart’s Requiem with the Prince George Symphony, under the direction of Kevin Zakresky. For eight seasons Bruce held the position of soloist with the Vancouver Cantata Singers under the direction of James Fankhauser.
He has been featured as a soloist on recordings and CBC broadcasts by the Vancouver Cantata Singers, Christ Church Cathedral Choir, and Chor Leoni.
In addition to being a member of Chor Leoni Men’s Choir for over twenty years, Bruce is a soloist and section leader with the award-winning Christ Church Cathedral Choir under the direction of Rupert Lang.
