Fundraising Director & Graphic Design
Non-Singing Member
With an interdisciplinary approach and a passion for arts administration, Amelia "Ed" Pitt-Brooke is committed to the lateral work that surrounds producing arts events. In addition to being one of the ensemble’s founders, she is also Cor Flammae's Fundraising Director and graphic designer.
She has been the Volunteer Coordinator and Front of House Manager for the Vancouver Cantata Singers since 2009, and served as the board president of the Bent Umbrella Queer Performing Arts Society, which brought the International DragKing Community Extravaganza, to Vancouver in 2007.
She also brings her experience as a gender performance artist (Kings of Vancouver, DKUnited, Stilettos & Strap-ons Queer Femme Burlesque, Boyfriends, Man-Up) and event organizer connected Vancouver’s LGBTQ club scene to her roles with Cor Flammae. It is a huge pleasure for her to unite her diverse administrative skills with a lifelong passion for choral music as part of the team that is bringing this project to life.
